AVIA 41P échelle 1/2.8 à Lolo

Bonjour,
First my apologies for writing english. My French is rather poor. I got interested by this thread because of a visit to the museum in Paris where I saw the Avia 41P. What a beatifull plane! So when coming home I started to contemplate on building this plane myself. Actually the scale of 1/2,8 fits me also quit well. It just fits in my car. I have started to design with devcad and devfuz. But my question is actually how your Avia is progressing..?

Hi Dopieman, thank you for the interest you give to my Avia project, and apologize for answering so late...

I've stopped the building since the beginning of 2024 to build another glider (not a scale but with a vintage look) which was in my head for quite a long time... This one will be finished within one or two months and I'll probably return to my AVIA building on next autumn, maybe to fly it on summer 2025.

The AVIA's wings are divided into two parts.
Now, both of the central pannels are made, one lateral pannel is well begun. The fuselage is mainly constructed.
I can consider that I've done half of the work.

What about yours ?

Happy to hear that you will finish the Avia! Its such a beautiful plane so eagerly waiting your postings!
Right now I am building a Horten XL electro from LCtech. When that is finished I hope to take the Avia on my building board.
