Kranich II

Hi All,

I would like to present my last project, the Kranich II 1/4 scale. I startmy CAD design from M. Simons tryptic and I cut all part with my CNC machine. Now I am at the end of constructions after two years of work.

Hi Vincen,

thanks, but I think that the alluminium nose is to mach complicated to shape.
Now I will start with fiberglass nose and may be in the future I will try to shape the alluminium foils.

Yes the canopy of Kranich is one of the original part of this beutiful glider.

Hi all

after more then two year of work, my kranich with the help of my good friend Valerio has been tested for the maiden flight.
The model redy for flight has a weight of 9 kg witha wing loading of 67gr/dm2.
now thw model needs to be adjusted better, I have to remove some ballast and reduce the escursion of elevator but I am very happy of tested flight.
Here enclosed some pictures of Kranich in company of Valerio's Mg, both of them in 1/4 scale. The Mg has been built enlarging the Vincent's project.
